Schedule a fall equipment check

October is the perfect time to service heaters, salt cells, and automation before next swim season hits.

Why October is the right month

Vegas pools don't really 'close' for winter — but they do slow down. October is the sweet spot: water is still warm enough for comfortable diagnostics, demand on equipment drops, and parts/labor schedules are wide open before the spring rush.

Wait until April and you'll be in line behind everyone else who waited.

What to check

A complete fall service typically covers:

  • Heater: clean burners, check ignition, inspect heat exchanger for scale
  • Salt cell: inspect plates, acid-wash if needed, verify output
  • Pump: check seals, bearings, and impeller for wear
  • Filter: deep-clean cartridges or change DE grids
  • Automation: update firmware, verify schedules and freeze protect
  • Plumbing: scan for leaks, check valve actuators
