North Las Vegas covers a huge stretch of the valley — from Aliante and Tule Springs in the northwest to Eldorado and the older neighborhoods closer to Cheyenne. Hard fill water is the third issue. NLV pulls from the same Lake Mead source as the rest of the valley, and combined with high summer evaporation it builds calcium scale on tile and salt cells fast. We LSI-balance every pool, brush tile weekly, and run sequestrant when needed instead of waiting until scale is thick enough to need a bead-blast.
